Super soft t-shirt inspired by Venture discount department store. Venture Department Stores first opened in January of 1970 in Overland, Missouri, with a second location in Fairview Heights, a city in southwestern Illinois, opening just a couple months later. The discount department store soon became very popular and kept expanding, outdoing both Zayre and Ames in the Chicago market. Apart from great bargains, great food could also be found at its “Cafe Venture.” At its peak Venture had over 70 stores across the Midwest. Due to competition, Venture closed all of its remaining stores in 1998. 50/50 cotton-poly blend. Made and printed in the USA. Velvety Local Vyntage logo on right sleeve. This t-shirt is tag-less.
