Velocio ES Rain Jacket

Getting a rain jacket right might be just about the hardest piece of clothing a company needs to nail. The Velocio ES Rain Jacket manages to be waterproof and breathable while remaining effectively aero and low profile. Yes, that sounds amazing, and really it is quite exceptional. To get the waterproofing right, Velocio goes with two 100% waterproof materials. Polartec NeoShell 3-layer fabric for the Red-Orange color and Schoeller c_change 3-layer fabric for the Ocean Blue. Both these materials are renowned for the level of intelligent protection they provide for all the clothing items that use Polartec and Schoeller. With the breathability built-in without having to resort to ill-placed zippered airing ports or other such stylistic compromises. And to get the fit spot on, they use 3-D patterning to streamline the effect with reduced bulk. Combining the excellent cut with the stretchiness of the material means that you won’t ever feel like the jacket is restricting you or ballooning out like a cape. The structured rear collar keeps close to your neck so no water will risk dripping down your back, while the microfleece lining feels warm and soft against your skin. An extended tail keeps your backside dryer, and reflective elements ensure the cars see you when the ambient light is low. The Velocio ES Rain Jacket is designed to feel close to the body with a long sleeve jersey underneath, so be certain to size up if you will want to layer more and heavier items underneath it for those seriously cold, wet days.
