Vektor 2 S

Product Story The Vektor 2 S is a stiffer variant of the Vektor 2, designed for archers who want increased rigidity while maintaining the same wind efficient profile. When the original Vektor launched, it introduced a rare balance of wind efficiency and stiffness that worked exceptionally well for both compound and recurve archers. It quickly became a favorite among athletes who wanted a stabilizer that could perform reliably in real outdoor conditions. Over the past decade, we have continued refining our approach to stabilization through extensive testing, prototype development, and feedback from elite competitors around the world. The Vektor 2 platform brings those lessons together in a completely redesigned stabilizer. The Vektor 2 and Vektor 2 S share the same geometry, dimensions, and overall design. The difference is in the carbon layup. The S version uses a higher modulus carbon construction that increases stiffness by approximately 13 percent, giving archers a more rigid and responsive feel. The profile features a refined Wind Taper geometry, increasing the base diameter while maintaining a narrow tip. This keeps the excellent wind efficiency of the original Vektor while improving stiffness, vibration reduction, and overall shot reaction. The result is a stabilizer that reduces tip flutter and creates a more confident aiming picture. We also redesigned the end caps to increase structural strength at the base while minimizing mass at the tip. This raises the natural frequency of the stabilizer and improves responsiveness during aiming corrections. The result is a stabilizer that holds steadier, reacts cleaner after the shot, and performs reliably in real outdoor conditions. If you like the feel and wind performance of the Vektor 2 but want additional stiffness and weight carrying capability, the Vektor 2 S delivers that performance without changing the overall system feel. Technical Specifications  Carbon Construction Ultra high modulus carbon fiber layup Diameter Front stabilizers 0.60” base tapering to 0.53” tip Side stabilizers 0.57” base tapering to 0.53” tip The Wind Taper profile increases stiffness where the stabilizer experiences the most stress while reducing drag at the tip where wind torque is greatest. This geometry also improves vibration reduction compared to a parallel carbon tube. Stiffness C-Spine: 380 The Vektor 2 S uses a higher modulus carbon layup than the Vektor 2, increasing stiffness by approximately 13 percent. This places it closer to the Beast in overall rigidity while maintaining a more wind efficient diameter. Recommended weight range Front stabilizer: 6–25 oz Side stabilizer: 6–40 oz Side rods are not offered in the S version because shorter stabilizers already provide high stiffness and the performance gain does not justify the additional cost. End Caps EDGE aerospace grade aluminum The redesigned end caps maximize strength at the base of the stabilizer while minimizing weight at the tip. This increases natural frequency and improves aiming responsiveness. A deeper overlap between carbon and aluminum also increases durability. Threads 5/16-24 threaded ends Compatible with standard stabilizer weights, dampers, and conversion screws. Stabilizer Mass (without weights) 10” – 2.2 oz 11” – 2.4 oz 12” – 2.5 oz 13” – 2.6 oz 14” – 2.7 oz 15” – 2.9 oz 26” – 4.4 oz 27” – 4.5 oz 28” – 4.7 oz 29” – 4.8 oz 30” – 4.9 oz 32” – 5.2 oz Tungsten VIBRO-Core option adds 2 oz Note: Stabilizer lengths are measured from end cap to end cap and do not include additional hardware, weights, or dampers.   Who It's For The Vektor 2 S is designed for archers who want a stiffer, more responsive stabilizer while maintaining excellent wind efficiency. It shares the same geometry and overall feel as the Vektor 2, but with increased rigidity that benefits archers running more weight or preferring a more controlled, stable aiming experience. Within the RamRods lineup, the Vektor 2 S sits between the Ultra v4 and Beast, offering a strong balance of stiffness and wind efficiency. Compound Archers The Vektor 2 S is typically the best fit if you: • Want increased stiffness without moving to a larger diameter stabilizer • Run moderate to heavier weight setups • Prefer a more rigid, controlled aiming feel If you prioritize maximum stiffness or run very heavy weight stacks, the Beast may be a better fit. Recurve Archers The Vektor 2 S is a great option if you: • Run 12 oz or more on your front stabilizer • Prefer a crisp shot reaction and stable hold • Want more stiffness than the Ultra line while maintaining strong wind performance If maximum wind efficiency is your top priority, the Ultra v4 may be the better choice. Goes Well With  If you are setting up a Vektor 2 S system, the right accessories will help you get the most performance from your stabilizers. The Vektor 2 S was designed to work in harmony with our line of EDGE accessories. When paired together, these components create a fully integrated stabilization system that improves structural rigidity, tuning flexibility, and overall shot reaction. The EDGE design language also creates a clean, unified aesthetic across the entire setup, making your bow look as refined as it performs. Recurve Setup For a recurve bow we recommend pairing the Vektor 2 S with: • EDGE Extension (carbon or aluminum) • EDGE Adjustable V-Bar • EDGE Small QDC for quick setup and repeatable alignment • EQ Dampers (trio set) in 40 or 50 stiffness • 4-2-1 Weight Packs for micro tuning your balance This setup allows you to fine tune both aiming stability and shot reaction. Compound Setup For compound bows we recommend pairing the Vektor 2 S with: • EDGE Offset V-Bar • EDGE Small QDC in 0°, 8°, or 10° down depending on preference • EQ Dampers in 40 or 50 stiffness • 4-2-1 Weight Packs Most compound shooters prefer the 50 stiffness dampers. If you are unsure, start there. For archers who prefer a more rigid weight stack, tungsten damping weights provide excellent vibration reduction without affecting aiming stability.
