Vegware™ SC-08G Compostable Soup Containers, 8-oz (1000ct)

Consider how many food containers are served in restaurants and grocery stores across our country everyday-the numbers are staggering. Used to protect, serve or transport food items, they're eventually disposed into landfill where studies show conventional food ware can take 100+ years to fully decompose into toxic micro-plastic that threatens our food and water supply. We can easily reduce the leakage of plastics into the environment! Vegware™ holds the deepest set of compostability certification in the sector and has you covered with their innovative, high-quality range of award-winning plant-based catering disposables to package and deliver your hot and cold food and drink. There is a new Eco-technology available for your food service packaging and catering disposables and it’s called Polyactic acid (PLA). PLA is a plastic substrate made from fermented plant starch (usually corn) and it is fast becoming a popular alternative to traditional petroleum based plastics. After use, these Vegware™ 90-Series plant based food containers can be given a new life as compost, since these cups are made of sustainable board material certified to degrade within 12 weeks! These soak proof 8-ounce PLA-lined paper food containers are used for pasta, ice cream sundaes, yogurt, pastas, soups, stews, cereal or hot oatmeal. They're awesome for use as a pet dish, garden container for growing seeds, for use as a bait container or even as a clinical denture soak! Impress your guests - soup containers are printed with a Eco Green Leaf band design so you can showcase your commitment to sustainability. Vegware™ is not niche but rather a premier and practical solution to reducing landfill and micro-plastic. They are the top choice by government offices, outdoor caterers, theme parks, takeout service, festivals, food trucks, zoos, health boards, grocery, corporate picnics, bars, wineries, food packaging, tourist attractions, education, food retailers, event organizers, artisan delis, independent coffee houses, organic foods, cannabis dispensaries, vegan restaurants and more! 8-ounce size Optional #VL90D cold dome or #VLID90S hot flat lids available. All lids are packed 1000 per case.
