Vegware™ CF-DC-08 Compostable Round Deli Containers, 8-oz (500ct)

Consider how many plastic or foam deli containers are served in restaurants and grocery stores across our country everyday-the numbers are staggering. Used to serve food portions, they're eventually disposed into landfill where studies show conventional food ware can take 100+ years to fully decompose into toxic micro-plastic that threatens our food and water supply. We can easily reduce the leakage of plastics into the environment! Vegware™ holds the deepest set of compostability certification in the sector and has you covered with their innovative, high-quality range of award-winning plant-based catering disposables to package and deliver your hot and cold food and drink. There is a new Eco-technology available for your food service packaging and catering disposables and it’s called Polyactic acid (PLA). PLA is a plastic substrate made from fermented plant starch (usually corn) and it is fast becoming a popular alternative to traditional petroleum based plastics. After use, these Vegware™ clear round 8-oz plant-based PLA deli food containers can be given a new life as compost, since these containers are made of material certified to degrade within 12 weeks! Perfect for serving, displaying or transporting cold deli treats, salads, fruits, desserts and bake goods. These containers are ideal for takeout service, food trucks, grocery, food packaging, farming, cafeterias, zoos, picnics, bars, wineries, cafeterias, food trucks, outdoor catering and weddings, festivals and to-go operations.
