Vegware™ LV-20G Compostable Hot Cups, 20-oz (1000ct)

Consider how many drinking cups are served in restaurants and grocery stores across our country everyday-the numbers are staggering. Used to protect, serve or transport beverages such as tea, coffee and hot coca, they're eventually disposed into landfill where studies show conventional food ware can take 100+ years to fully decompose into toxic micro-plastic that threatens our food and water supply. We can easily reduce the leakage of plastics into the environment! Vegware™ holds the deepest set of compostability certification in the sector and has you covered with their innovative, high-quality range of award-winning plant-based catering disposables to package and deliver your hot and cold food and drink. There is a new Eco-technology available for your foodservice packaging and catering disposables and it’s called Polyactic acid (PLA). PLA is a plastic substrate made from fermented plant starch (usually corn) and it is fast becoming a popular alternative to traditional petroleum based plastics. After use, these Vegware™ 89-Series 20-ounce hot beverage cups can be given a new life as compost, since these drink cups are made of sustainably-sourced board material certified to degrade within 12 weeks making them ideal for serving and tea, coffee, hot cocoa, cider and soup! These Single Walled Hot Paper Drink Cups are lined with plant-based PLA and feature a Green Leaf band design so you can showcase your commitment to sustainability and promote your brand. Ideal for takeout service, food trucks, grocery, food packaging, farming, cafeterias, zoos, picnics, bars, wineries, cafeterias, food trucks, outdoor catering and weddings, festivals and to-go operations. 20-ounce size Optional CPLA hot cup lids available (1000 per case)
