Vegware™ R600Y-G Compostable Clear Cold Cups, 20-oz (1000ct)

Consider how many plastic and Styrofoam drinking cups are served in restaurants and grocery stores across our country everyday-the numbers are staggering. Used to protect, serve or transport cold beverages, smoothies, shakes, desserts, fruits and more, they're eventually disposed into landfill where studies show conventional food ware can take 100+ years to fully decompose into toxic micro-plastic that threatens our food and water supply. We can easily reduce the leakage of plastics into the environment! Vegware™ holds the deepest set of compostability certification in the sector and has you covered with their innovative, high-quality range of award-winning plant-based catering disposables to package and deliver your hot and cold food and drink. There is a new Eco-technology available for your food service packaging and catering disposables and it’s called Polyactic acid (PLA). PLA is a plastic substrate made from fermented plant starch (usually corn) and it is fast becoming a popular alternative to traditional petroleum based plastics. After use, these Vegware™ 96-Series 20-ounce clear cold beverage cups can be given a new life as compost, since these cups are made of material certified to degrade within 12 weeks!
