Baseline Iron+

The vegan-friendly Gnarly Baseline Iron+ uses iron bisglycinate, a highly bioavailable form of non-heme iron that won’t cause stomach upset. Groups that are at risk for iron deficiency include endurance athletes, females of menstruating age, and vegans/vegetarians. If you are in 1 or more of these groups, you may benefit from daily iron supplementation. Iron is an essential mineral for the body to transport blood and oxygen. Vitamin C is included to improve iron absorption. To support the role of iron in healthy red blood cell production, Gnarly Iron+ contains methylcobalamin, the active form of vitamin B12 as well as L-5 Methyltetrahydrofolate (L-5 MTHF), the predominant and naturally occurring form of folate in food.
