This colorwork tam is a great graphic addition to your Fall or Winter wardrobe. The pattern is sized based on the knitted gauge of the finished fabric. The small size is worked with a gauge of 5.5 stitches per inch, while the large is worked over a gauge of 4.5 stitches per inch. The smaller size will produce a more upright tam with denser fabric.
