Vector Sunglasses: Photochromic Lens Z87+

Desc. Features Specs & Guarantee The VECTOR with wizard-like photochromic lenses. These frames are fitted with adaptive lenses that automatically adjust from a clear to dark tint (or dark to clear) based on the UV light in your environment. The variable tint range of these lenses adjusts from a very clear 78% to a very chill 14% VLT of darkness, all in about 30 seconds. So when you're inside your garage grinding off all the bubblegum welds from a sweet barn find C10, you'll have crystal clear, z87 protection. When it's time to jam outside for the 5th Home Depot run of the day, the lenses will smoothly change from clear to grey in a matter of seconds. While these will NOT get as dark as our standard Black lenses. We picked a photochromic lens to provide ideal clarity indoors and as dark as possible outdoors to maximize the wearer's utility of this eyewear. The extremely close fit on the Vector cuts penetrating light, reduces areas for debris to enter, and simultaneously pushes the side shields further back, escalating the field of view. Light and Flexible: The minimal frame design not only makes the Vector the LIGHTEST Heat Wave frame to date at only 1.3 oz., but also enables them to have outward FLEX allowing them to be more adaptable, and comfortably fit around the head. The Vector uses a replaceable (tool free) shatter resistant mass-impact rated 2mm thick cylindrical shield lens, that is visually broken in two with a louvered nose bridge that locks the lens in place. The rest of the frame is obscured from view behind the lens, where you will find two minimal lens clips protruding through the lens that further secure the lens to the frame’s side shields. The Vector is finished with our proven performance arms, utilizing Hytrel® dual injected arms that grip into place, and allow the glasses to be worn comfortably all day long. Other benefits of this design include a fit that works better with head wear, such as hats, helmets and ear-protection. -Meets ANSI Z87+ mass impact requirements* -Lightest frame to date at only 1.3 oz. -Includes Microfiber bag -TR90 frame & arms with metal inlay logos -Fully Customizable with our extra Arms* -No tools or hardware required for customization -California residents, please read the Proposition 65 warning *Disclaimer: Removing arms and or changing configuration voids ANSI compliance.
