VAULTEK | Slider Series

Vaultek Slider Series Safe (Essential, Essential Biometric & ViSN) Purpose & Fit The Vaultek Slider Series is designed for fast, discreet access to a single handgun in tight or vertical spaces. Its defining feature is the slide-out presentation system, which deploys the firearm forward and into a ready position—making it especially well suited for under-desk, bedside, bookshelf, or vehicle mounting. Customers typically choose the Slider Series when traditional top-opening safes don’t fit their space or access needs, and when speed, orientation, and consistency of access matter more than added storage capacity. What This Product Protects Well Helps restrict unauthorized access to a single handgun and spare magazine Supports fast, repeatable access in confined or vertical spaces Designed to help deter casual access and opportunistic handling Keeps a defensive firearm stored in a consistent, ready orientation What This Product Is Designed to Handle Everyday access-control needs in homes, apartments, or vehicles Under-desk, nightstand, bookshelf, or vehicle mounting scenarios Quick-access storage where presentation angle and speed are priorities What This Product Is Not Designed For Fire protection or heat exposure scenarios High-risk or professional burglary attempts Storage of multiple firearms or large accessories Primary security for high-value collections or commercial use How This Model Compares Within Its Category The Slider Series occupies a unique place in Vaultek’s lineup. Instead of a hinged door, it uses a precision rail system to present the firearm forward when opened. This makes it a strong option when access angle and mounting flexibility are more important than internal volume. Within the Slider Series, the choice comes down to how you want to access the safe and whether you want connected monitoring. Customers looking for a simple keypad-only solution tend to choose the Essential model, while those wanting biometric access or smart alerts step up accordingly. Slider Series Options (What’s Different) Essentials Slider Safe (SL2e): Keypad-only access using a backlit 5-digit Smart Sense™ keypad and manual backup keys. A straightforward option for users who want simple, fast access without biometric or smart features. Essentials Biometric Slider Safe (SL2i): Adds a biometric fingerprint scanner alongside the keypad and manual keys, offering faster access while keeping the system local and uncomplicated. Slider Series ViSN Biometric (NSL2i): Includes biometric access plus Vaultek’s ViSN WiFi-enabled platform for live alerts and safe activity monitoring through a smartphone app. Designed for users who want awareness and connectivity in addition to quick access.
