Vater Beantown Brushes

VWTB Beantown Brushes Vintage inspired!  A throwback to old-school brushes from decades ago. Going through Alan Vater’s grandfather Jack Adams’ cases, we came across some vintage brushes made specifically for Jack when he owned and operated Jack’s Drum Shop in Boston, along with playing jazz and big band himself. The Beantown Brush grip measures .530” for a lighter and quicker feel combined with a thinner gauge wire for more flex and a soft sound with plenty of classic swish tonality.  The rubber grip’s reddish-brown color is a nod to both the vintage brush era, and Boston’s nickname of “Beantown,” where Vater’s drumstick making history began in the basement of Jack’s Drum Shop. "The Beantown Brush is a dream fulfilled … I have been searching for that brush that is a direct replica of my favorite model that is the standard for jazz brushes.  They knocked it out of the park with pure craftsmanship and a brush that feels and sounds good!" - Ulysses Owens Jr.  Priced per pair.
