FINAL SALE Among Takashi Murakami's artworks, the popular "Cherry Blossom" character is adopted, following the "Flowers." The splendor and exhilaration of the "Cherry Blossom" in full bloom, which differs from the eternity of "Flowers," projects the Japanese aesthetic towards the "Cherry Blossom," which blooms and scatters in a short period. While the skull evokes memento mori (remember death), for Murakami, it also includes the image of Japan's defeat in the war. Furthermore, the all-over screen composition of accumulated skulls also contains elements of abstract expressionism. This piece, featuring Takashi Murakami's cherry blossom artwork, is an item that symbolizes this collection, which was produced with advanced technology and an enormous amount of time. Arms with embossed skull pattern Luxurious appliqués Sagara embroidery appliqués on felt Two layers of colored leather on the petals Chain-stitched message expressing the collection's theme on the chest Cherry blossom-colored melton fabric on the body Interior pockets
