Variegated Sashiko Thread, #77 Multi Forest

100% Cotton Sashiko Thread, Variegated For sashiko, embroidery, mending, and quilting, try the lovely 100% cotton sashiko threads from Olympus Japan. These soft, matte threads have more body than embroidery thread, so they're better for the single-line designs found in traditional sashiko. For the same reason, Olympus sashiko threads are a good choice for any ornamental stitching — the lines will be both bold and soft. Variegated sashiko skeins are dyed in multiple colors; each skein is a little bit different! 20 meters / 22 yards per skein. About Olympus Olympus has made cotton threads in Japan for more than a century. In 1908, the company started production of sewing threads, and in 1929 they began making their first embroidery flosses. Each chapter in Olympus' long history has been accompanied by technical advancements, making the threads stronger, more consistent, and more beautiful with each new era. Olympus threads are carefully produced for color consistency between batches, so fiber artists can rely on these products for the long term.
