It grows in full sun or dark shade- it will create a unique contrast in texture planted with conifers and lacy-leaved dwarf Japanese maples, or in a container with other shade-loving plants. The Go-To Plant for Landscape Designers You'll see these plants in every high-end neighborhood you visit. They're so popular because they don't need maintenance, but still give you lots of color.
