Varia EVO Hand Grinder

Varia EVO Manual Espresso Grinder Grind on the go with the Varia EVO manual coffee grinder. This hand grinder features impressive build quality for its price point—it also has a surprisingly wide range of grind settings, capable of handling just about any brew method a coffee enthusiast could want. Features and Performance Varia’s EVO hand grinder is built for precise performance and impressive durability. Constructed entirely from space-grade aluminum alloys and stainless steel, the EVO features the same Supernova burr geometry as Varia’s award-winning flagship grinder, the VS3. With 140 steps of grind adjustments available at just 10 microns each, the EVO’s 38mm conical burrs can be easily dialed in to suit just about any coffee preparation method out there, from espresso to cold brew.  The EVO’s grinding chamber fits up to 35 grams of whole beans which are ground easily into the magnetically-attached grounds bin that fits perfectly into a standard 58mm portafilter.  Keeping the EVO clean is simple: the grinding chamber is easy to access, as are the burrs. A quick once-over with a brush or a quick spritz of compressed air after grinding will give you a clean chamber for your next round of brewing.  Why You Should Get It The EVO would serve well as a high-performing home espresso grinder for someone on a budget who doesn’t mind grinding by hand. It’s well-made, consistent, and perfectly capable of grinding enough for espresso or small-batch coffee brewing.  On the other hand, if you’ve gotten to the point where hotel coffee just won’t cut it for you, the Varia EVO is perfect for grinding on the go—it’s small and easily packable. Paired with a portable brewing system (like Varia’s PRO brewer) you can use it to enjoy cafe-quality espresso—even when you’re not at home. What’s In the Box? The Varia EVO comes packed in a shockproof EVA carrying case for easy transportation with a cleaning brush. It’s available in white, black, or silver to match a variety of aesthetics.
