Vanward Trousers

Tailored chaos. Refined rebellion. The Vanward Trousers by Munthe are the trouser for people who take their dressing seriously — but make it look like they don't. A loose fit with a regular waist gives you room to move, breathe, and command a room. Front pleats add that old-school Parisian tailoring energy that never goes out of style, while a subtle pinstripe pattern keeps the whole thing grounded in sharp, sophisticated territory. The result? A trouser that reads boardroom and art gallery and Saturday morning market all at once. Loose. Pleated. Pinstriped. The holy trinity of elevated dressing. 🕹️ Subtle pinstripe pattern — classic tailoring detail with a modern, relaxed twist 👔 Front pleats — that Parisian tailoring energy, always relevant 👚 Loose fit, regular waist — generous silhouette, effortless movement ⚖️ Balanced tailored cut — structured enough to polish, relaxed enough to breathe 🍂 Fall-ready fabric weight — the right heft for the season Model one is 174 cm and wears a size 36. Model two is 173 cm and wears a size 36. FAQ Q: How do the Vanward Trousers fit? A: They're a loose fit with a regular waist — relaxed through the hip and leg without being wide-leg extreme. Both models wear a size 36 (at 174 cm and 173 cm respectively). Stick with your usual size for the intended silhouette, or size down if you prefer a more tailored look. Q: Are these work-appropriate? A: Absolutely — and then some. The pinstripe pattern and front pleats give them instant office credibility. Pair with a fitted blazer and pointed-toe heels for a full power look, or style with a silk blouse and loafers for polished business-casual. They transition seamlessly from desk to dinner. Q: Do the front pleats add bulk? A: No — the pleats lie flat and are designed to add movement and ease rather than volume. They create that classic, elegant drape that makes pleated trousers so enduringly flattering across different body types. Q: Is the pinstripe subtle or bold? A: Very subtle — it's a tonal, refined stripe that adds texture and visual interest without being loud. It reads as a sophisticated detail up close and a clean, polished trouser from across the room. Best of both worlds. Q: How do I care for these trousers? A: We recommend dry cleaning or a gentle machine wash on a cool, delicate cycle to preserve the fabric's structure and pinstripe integrity. Hang or lay flat to dry, and press with a warm iron if needed. Always check the care label for specific guidance. Q: What shoes work best with these? A: The Vanward Trousers are incredibly versatile. Pointed-toe heels or mules for a sleek, elongated look. Loafers or Oxford flats for a Parisian-cool vibe. Chunky boots for an unexpected, editorial contrast. Even clean white sneakers work when you want to break the tailoring code intentionally.
