Vanilla Hydrating Lip Scrub

Why you'll love it: Every great makeup application starts with great skin prep. Here are the tools Alayne uses to get that perfectly smooth natural-looking skin. I learned that exfoliating the lips, for a man or a woman is essential while working on the Milady, "Intro to Makeup," cosmetology textbooks. Exfoliating the lips makes them smoother, fuller, better for product application, and have more color naturally. Plus this sugar lip scrub tastes amazing and adds hydration too. Effective and Yummy! How to use: Start with Clean Lips: Begin with clean, dry lips. You may want to remove any lip balm or lipstick beforehand to ensure the scrub can effectively exfoliate your lips. Apply a Small Amount of Lip Scrub: Take a small amount of the lip scrub using your fingertip or a lip brush. A little goes a long way, so start with a small quantity. Gently Massage in Circular Motions: Using gentle circular motions, massage the lip scrub onto your lips. Focus on all areas, including the corners. Be careful not to be too harsh, especially if your lips are sensitive. Exfoliate for 1-2 Minutes: Continue massaging the lip scrub for about 1-2 minutes. This allows the exfoliating particles in the scrub to slough off dead skin cells and promote circulation. Rinse or Wipe Off: After exfoliating, either rinse your lips with lukewarm water or use a damp cloth to wipe off the lip scrub. Ensure that all the scrub particles are removed. Pat Dry: Gently pat your lips dry with a soft towel. Avoid rubbing, as your lips may be more sensitive after exfoliation.
