Gourmet Vanilla Beans

These plump and oily gourmet-grade whole vanilla beans are grown in the Semuliki Forest of western Uganda, by some of the same farmers who meticulously grow the Ugandan cacao we purchase to make our chocolate. We're proud to support their labor by importing enough vanilla for our own chocolate production and extra to make available to our retail customers and our professional food service customers who use it in their pastries, desserts, ice creams, and confections. Measuring 6.5"-7" long with a moisture content of 30%, these beans have a powerfully sweet aroma that is almost intoxicating. Available in 1 lb bundles.
