Vanguard ALTA SKY 69 Professional Super-Telephoto Camera Backpack – Fits Up to 1200mm Attached, 17" Laptop & 13" Tablet Storage, 49L Capacity

Built for photographers who push into the field with extreme telephoto setups, the Vanguard ALTA SKY 69 Professional Super-Telephoto Camera Backpack delivers unmatched capacity, protection, and workflow efficiency for serious wildlife, birding, and sports photography. Designed to handle super-telephoto lenses up to 1200mm (f/8) attached to a pro DSLR or full-frame mirrorless camera, the ALTA SKY 69 eliminates the need to break down your setup in transit. This means you stay ready for the shot—no compromise between speed and protection. What sets the ALTA SKY 69 apart is its dual-compartment long-lens system, purpose-built for photographers working with large glass. One side securely holds your mounted camera and super-telephoto lens, supported by an adjustable padded cradle that stabilizes the lens and protects the camera mount during movement. The other side can carry up to eight additional lenses or be configured for personal gear—giving you the flexibility to adapt to any shooting scenario. Access is designed around real-world shooting needs. A full front opening flap allows for quick top access to your primary camera setup, while rear access points provide secure entry to the lower compartments for organized gear management. Inside, the bright orange interior enhances visibility, helping you locate equipment quickly—even in low light or outdoor conditions. For carrying support gear, the tripod-optimized system allows you to mount a full-size tripod centrally for balanced transport using a dedicated foot pocket and adjustable straps. Alternatively, a tripod or monopod can be carried in the expandable side pocket, which also doubles as a water bottle holder. Beyond camera gear, the ALTA SKY 69 offers full support for your digital workflow. Dedicated compartments fit a 17" laptop (12.6 × 1.2 × 16.9 inches) and a 13" tablet, along with additional pockets for accessories such as cables, batteries, memory cards, and personal items. Built for long days under heavy load, the backpack features an advanced ergonomic harness system, including a breathable 3D padded back panel, adjustable shoulder straps, sternum strap, and padded waist belt—working together to distribute weight evenly and reduce fatigue. For shorter outings, a detachable side shoulder strap provides an alternative carry option. Constructed from durable 1000D and 600D polyester, and paired with a full-coverage rain cover, the ALTA SKY 69 is built to protect your gear in demanding environments and harsh weather conditions. With its 49L capacity, 44 lb load rating, and purpose-built long-lens design, the ALTA SKY 69 is the ultimate solution for photographers who need to carry everything—without compromise.
