Vandoren CM1005 - BD5 Bb Clarinet Mouthpiece, Black Diamond

Bernard Van Doren crafted the first BD5 by hand in the 1970s and forty years later, armed with cutting edge technology, Vandoren is able to precisely re-create that same exceptional mouthpiece each and every time. The BD5 mouthpiece provides the clarinetist with a dark, yet colorful sound and offers custom quality at an affordable price. The BD5 is available in two different models - standard pitch (A=442) or 13 Series (A=440).  “The BD5 is a mouthpiece with a remarkable blend of coveted qualities. It combines a beautiful balance of depth and clarity with powerful projection and with immediate response.” – Jon Manasse, Performing Artist
