Here’s a vintage slice of cycling history: a bold 1929 French poster celebrating Léon Vanderstuyft’s jaw‑dropping hour record—125.815 kilometers in just sixty minutes! It isn’t selling bikes or gear so much as it’s selling Vanderstuyft himself: a world champion of the demi‑fond (1922) and reigning record‑holder, whose feats were the hottest ticket in sport. Not to mention, its an authentic stone lithograph! The perfect addition for anyone interested in golden‑age of cycling lore. Size: 63.25" x 47.0" Condition: Very Good, Age-appropriate wear, fading and toning. Conservation mounted one linen. Poster has never been folded. Areas of faint printer stripes, and printer spots in outer margin. Horizonal crease in lower center, above red title text. General restored border wear. Please use the photo zoom feature to get a better understanding of overall condition. *Additional photos available upon request.
