Valhalla - Postcards

Valhalla transcends the boundary between mythology and religion, as it appeared under both classifications at different points in history. In Norse mythology, where it originated, Valhalla was described as a majestic hall in Asgard, presided over by the god Odin. It was a place where warriors would go if they died in combat, and that viewpoint gave the Scandinavians a widespread cultural belief that nothing is more glorious than death in battle. Vintage poster art provides the perfect style for depicting fantasy (and sometimes real but still mysterious) world travel destinations like Valhalla, and this original travel poster and hand-rendered art design will look great as an unframed print, framed illustration, notecard, postcard, metal sign, or canvas. Available in multiple size options, this whimsical travel art and world destination art was fashioned in the style of 20th-century vintage art and the iconic travel art and retro art that first promoted international travel.
