Valentino Uomo BIR Extradose

Valentino Uomo Born in Roma Extradose is a new fragrance for men launched in 2025, created by Guillaume Flavigny. Described by the house as reflecting "the grandeur and timeless elegance of the Eternal City," the fragrance features a high concentration of perfume oils, making it especially intense and expressive. The opening is a bold blend of spicy notes balanced with fresh citrus essences of bergamot and mandarin — setting a lively and dynamic tone. At the heart you'll find sophisticated facets of lavandin twisted with salty notes, creating an aromatic lavender accord that feels clean, modern, and distinctly elevated. The result is a clean lavender with sweet, bubblegum-y, vanilla-y woods — very heavy and dark, but balanced with contemporary elegance. The base is built on vetiver heart and guaiac wood, amplifying the warm and leathery undertones. As the highest concentration of Uomo yet, Extradose has great projection and longevity — expect 6+ hours on skin, with impressive projection. Most wearers report 8 hours with 3-5 sprays, and it lasts exceptionally well. Community reception highlights it as an "insane compliment getter" with multiple compliments reported every wear. Comparisons frequently land on JPG Le Male, Versace Eros, and the lavender Born in Roma DNA — Extradose sits darker and more intense than the original BIR, making it the boldest expression of Valentino's fougère-woody signature. If you want a powerful, compliment-pulling aromatic that projects confidence and turns heads, a decant is the smartest way to experience what the community is raving about.
