While plate compactors and rammers are great for certain jobs, some projects demand more efficiency, depth, and coverage. That’s where the Multiquip V305EK Walk Behind Roller comes in. Designed for professional contractors, municipalities, and landscaping crews, the V305EK Walk Behind Roller delivers excellent compaction performance in a compact, operator-friendly package. Whether you’re preparing asphalt patches, compacting trenches, or stabilizing soil for foundations, this roller ensures reliable results every time. What Is the Multiquip V305EK Walk Behind Roller? The Multiquip V305EK is a walk-behind double drum roller designed for asphalt and soil compaction. Unlike plate compactors, this roller uses steel drums and vibration to cover more ground per pass while achieving deeper, more uniform compaction. With a weight of approximately 705 lbs (320 kg), the V305EK provides enough force for road maintenance, trench compaction, landscaping, and patching projects. Its compact size makes it easy to maneuver in tight areas, while its durable design ensures years of reliable service. The roller is powered by a Kohler CH270 gasoline engine and is engineered for easy handling, reduced operator fatigue, and superior efficiency compared to smaller compaction tools. Key Features of the Multiquip V305EK The V305EK Walk Behind Roller is packed with features that make it one of the most efficient compactors in its category. 1. Kohler CH270 Gasoline Engine Provides reliable performance and easy starts. Fuel-efficient with low maintenance requirements. Delivers the torque needed for consistent compaction. 2. Dual Steel Drums Smooth double-drum design provides consistent coverage. Ensures even compaction across asphalt and soil surfaces. Offers vibration for increased density and long-term stability. 3. Impressive Centrifugal Force Generates approximately 3,400 lbs (15 kN) of centrifugal force. Provides efficient compaction with fewer passes. Suitable for both asphalt finishing and soil stabilization. 4. Compact and Maneuverable Design At 705 lbs, it’s heavy enough for solid compaction but light enough for easy maneuvering. Fits into tighter areas compared to larger ride-on rollers. Perfect for patching jobs, sidewalks, and confined worksites. 5. Operator-Friendly Controls Simple, ergonomic handle design for comfortable use. Easy-to-reach vibration and throttle controls. Designed to reduce fatigue during extended operation. 6.
