V12 Verado Anode Kit – 8M0179981

V12 Verado Anode Kit – 8M0179981 This anode kit is an essential maintenance item for your Mercury V12 Verado outboard engine. The kit is specifically designed to protect the engine from corrosion and prevent damage caused by electrolysis, which can occur in the harsh marine environment. Replacing anodes on a boat is crucial because they act as "sacrificial" metals, designed to corrode and dissolve instead of the other metal components on your boat, like the propeller and hull fittings, protecting them from galvanic corrosion which can cause significant damage if left unchecked.
