UV-Reactive Powellite Phantom Teardrop

Straight from the Tucson Gem Show—and newly discovered this year in Bahia, Brazil—these UV-Reactive Powellite Phantom Teardrops are a rare and mesmerizing find. Each piece contains natural phantom inclusions of Powellite, a molybdate mineral that glows a vivid golden-orange under longwave ultraviolet light. In natural daylight, the stone appears serene and unassuming. But under UV, hidden structures ignite from within—revealing preserved layers of growth suspended in time. Like echoes of the crystal’s evolution, these glowing phantoms symbolize transformation that was always happening beneath the surface. Powellite is known for its ability to purify stagnant energy, stimulate higher awareness, and activate vibrational intensity. When naturally encased in clear quartz, its energetic frequency is amplified—making this teardrop a powerful ally for spiritual illumination, emotional clarity, and deep inner work. The teardrop shape enhances the stone’s energy by symbolizing release, flow, and emotional integration. It supports those moving through transitions, grief, shadow work, or personal awakening—helping bring light to what was once hidden.
