Utah Septarian Bookend Pair

The Utah Septarian Freestanding Bookend Pair measures approximately 5.8" tall by 4.7" wide by 2.9" each thick and a combined weighs 9.98 pounds. Sourced directly from the artisan in Southern Utah near Zion National Park, septarian begins as a mudstone concretion that forms and hardens over time, then develops natural cracks that later fill with minerals—creating the bold, organic patterning it’s known for. The flat, polished front face highlights those natural lines and earthy tones, while the back remains rough and natural to preserve its raw character. The edge against the book is cut smooth, but not polished. A refined-yet-rugged statement piece for collectors, gifting, and elevated home decor.
