The Thing - Xbox

The Thing is a horror action game for Xbox set in the frozen wastelands of Antarctica. The game centers on a military rescue team investigating an American scientific outpost destroyed by a shape-shifting alien life form. Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. The disc play surface is in nice condition. Squad-based survival gameplay focuses on keeping teammates alive while managing fear and trust under pressure. Explosives and flamethrowers play a major role in fighting infected enemies and clearing threats. Psychological mind games and trust/fear tactics affect how the squad responds during the mission. Levels support multiple paths for solving objectives and progressing through the outpost. Environmental effects reinforce the Antarctic setting with harsh, isolated conditions. The soundtrack includes “After Me” by Saliva, tying the game to its early-2000s action-horror release era.
