Spider-Man - PlayStation 2

Spider-Man for PlayStation 2 is an action-adventure game from Activision that follows Peter Parker as he becomes Spider-Man and battles through story-driven missions across New York City. This PS2 release goes beyond the first film’s events with web-slinging movement, wall-crawling, Spider-Sense, and airborne combat built around the character’s signature abilities. This superhero action game blends close-range combat, platforming, and traversal with mission-based city levels and indoor set pieces. Peter Parker faces villains including Shocker, Vulture, and the Green Goblin as the story expands past the movie storyline. Movement focuses on acrobatics and web-swinging, with wall-crawling and midair maneuvering used to navigate large urban environments. Single-player gameplay supports DualShock features including vibration, with both digital and analog control options on PlayStation 2. Spider-Man was developed by Treyarch and published by Activision. It was followed on PlayStation 2 by Spider-Man 2, which shifted the series toward a more open-city structure.
