Sony ZV-E10 Mirrorless Camera (Black)

The Sony ZV-E10 is an APS-C mirrorless camera purpose-built for content creators and vloggers, adapting Sony’s interchangeable-lens mirrorless platform around video-first handling and features rather than traditional stills-focused ergonomics. It’s aimed at YouTubers, social media creators, and hybrid shooters who want the flexibility of interchangeable lenses paired with vlogging-oriented design choices not typically found on conventional mirrorless bodies. At its core is a 24.2MP APS-C Exmor CMOS sensor paired with Sony’s BIONZ X processor, delivering solid image quality and reasonably strong low-light performance for its class. Unlike Sony’s a6000-series stills-oriented APS-C bodies, the ZV-E10 omits an electronic viewfinder entirely, prioritizing a design built around composing via the rear screen for vlogging and handheld video work. Autofocus benefits from Sony’s Fast Hybrid AF system with real-time Eye AF for both humans and animals, along with real-time tracking to help keep a subject in focus during handheld self-recording and casual shooting. A Product Showcase Set mode allows the camera’s autofocus to quickly shift from a person’s face to an object held up to the lens, useful for creators reviewing or demonstrating products on camera. A Background Defocus button lets users quickly switch between a shallow depth of field for subject separation and a deeper depth of field for keeping more of the scene in focus, without manually adjusting aperture. Video capability includes 4K recording at up to 30p with full pixel readout and no pixel binning, along with Full HD recording at up to 120fps for slow-motion capture. The fully articulating side-flip LCD screen is positioned for easy self-monitoring while vlogging, letting users confirm framing and focus while shooting themselves. A built-in three-capsule directional microphone, paired with a furry wind screen accessory mount point, is designed to improve audio quality for outdoor recording compared to a typical built-in camera microphone. As an interchangeable-lens camera, the ZV-E10 uses Sony’s E-mount lens system, giving it access to Sony’s full range of native APS-C and full-frame E-mount lenses, along with third-party E-mount options, offering flexibility beyond the fixed-lens design of Sony’s ZV-1 series. Handling includes a dedicated movie record button, a multi-interface shoe for accessory microphones and lighting, and USB streaming capability, allowing the ZV-E10 to function as a webcam for live streaming or video calls when connected to a computer.
