Used C&C Drum Co. 6+6 Big Beat 3-Piece Shell Pack - Natural Maple

C&C Drum Co. 6+6 Big Beat 3-Piece Shell Pack - Natural Maple Welcome to the ultimate blend of vintage soul and boutique modern craftsmanship. Hand-built by the master artisans right in Gladstone, Missouri, the C&C Drum Co. 6+6 Big Beat Shell Pack pays a stunning, faithful homage to the legendary, ultra-thick custom shells of the 1970s. This isn't just a drum set; it's a living, breathing time capsule designed to deliver the high-octane projection and rich, woody character that defined an entire generation of studio and arena tracking. At the absolute heart of this kit is C&C's proprietary 6+6 Maple construction. By pressing six plies of premium North American Rock Maple alongside massive, heavy-duty six-ply maple reinforcement rings, C&C creates a incredibly robust 5mm shell. Acoustically, this heavy maple-on-maple recipe gives you an exceptionally bright, articulate, and resonant voice. You get a massive, punchy attack paired with a wide-open tonal body that cuts right through a live mix while maintaining an incredibly warm, organic low-end presence. To maximize that incredible wood selection, C&C outfits this kit with a hybrid bearing edge setup—featuring a full contact profile on the batter side and their signature Bread & Butter edge on the resonant side. This allows the drums to tune up beautifully across an expansive register, providing more punch and throatiness than any standard modern assembly. Driven by the same boutique spirit that has made C&C the go-to choice for world-renowned players like Joey Waronker (Beck, R.E.M.) and modern touring greats, this Big Beat configuration (22", 13", 16") delivers the deep, thunderous pocket your music deserves.
