USCP Deck Pro 7101

USCP Deck Pro 7101 Repair Mortar is a highly specialized, fiber-reinforced, cement-based mortar designed for structural repairs on a variety of concrete and masonry substrates. It’s particularly adept for applications on bridges, tunnels, elevated slabs, parking decks, piers, roadways, manholes, and sewers. Key Features and Benefits: – Shrinkage-Compensated: The inclusion of polymers and special additives minimizes shrinkage, ensuring durability and longevity of the repair. – Fiber-Reinforced: Enhances tensile and flexural strengths while reducing drying shrinkage. – Versatile Application: Suitable for horizontal, vertical, and overhead repairs, it can be applied by hand troweling or low-pressure spray. – Excellent Bonding: High bond strengths due to its enhanced adhesive properties. – Superior Finishing: Known for its excellent finishing characteristics which make it easy to work with and achieve a smooth result. – Low Permeability: Offers reduced permeability to water, enhancing the protective qualities of the repaired structure. Application Details: USCP Deck Pro 7101 is easy to apply. For hand applications, a bond coat of the mortar is scrubbed into the surface, followed by placement before the bond coat dries. For spray applications, appropriate equipment is required, and the surface must be pre-moistened yet free of excess water. Multiple lifts can be applied, with each layer needing to reach final set before the next is added. The product can be finished to match the original concrete elevation, providing a seamless repair. Preparation and Curing: Surface preparation involves removing unsound concrete, cleaning and saturating the substrate, and preparing corroded reinforcing steel as per industry standards. Proper curing, according to ACI 308, is crucial and can be achieved with suitable curing compounds or by moist curing for a minimum of 7 days. Packaging and Limitations: USCP Deck Pro 7101 comes in 50 lb bags with a yield of approximately .53 ft³ per bag when mixed with water. It’s best used in temperatures above 40ºF, with special considerations needed for colder weather applications. USCP Deck Pro 7101 Repair Mortar is an optimal solution for complex repair needs, providing robust, durable, and aesthetically pleasing repairs that can withstand harsh environments and heavy use.
