US Stock GOTS Certified Japanese Shiki Futon (Futon Mattress) Cover, Organic Cotton, Tie Closure

A lightweight and durable futon cover made from organic cotton. It’s a reliable, Japanese-made product that withstands repeated washing. Crafted according to the GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification, which is granted only to organic products meeting strict criteria. Organic Cotton 100 % Soft and comfortable on your skin even in humid weather. Made in Japan                     The knotted design reflects a sense of modesty, characteristic of Japanese style. It’s easier to put on and take off than a slide fastener type, making it a popular choice for use in traditional Japanese inns.       Through the side openings, your favorite futon’s design is visible, giving the impression that the futon is dressed in clothing.   The side openings are closed by tying three sets of strings, each 25 cm long, making them easy to tie.  The ends are sewn together for 10 cm on both sides, so the comforter stays inside and won’t slip out. In some parts you can see the tiny brown dots which are the parts of cotton. They are harmless to human body. You can see them because this is unbleached cotton fabric.   Recommended Care: Machine wash with cold water, use dryer low heat for avoiding shrinkage.   Made to fit to standard Japanese futon mattress sizes. To ensure the proper look and fit for your futon mattress, be sure to measure before ordering.
