US NSW - Quaking Venom

Loki got away with many things, but when the gods found out he was responsible for Baldr’s death, the gods finally gave Loki a lasting punishment. They captured him and bound him in a cave where they placed a venomous snake over him who would drip poison onto Loki’s face. Loki’s wife Sigyn was the only one to help him. She will spend her life, until Ragnarok, holding a bowl over Loki’s head catching the venom. Legend says that when Sigyn steps away to empty the full bowl, a few drops of venom would hit Loki and his painful writhing would cause the Earth to shake. So remember anytime the earth moves under you, it’s all due to the Quaking Venom.
