US Navy Bespoke Kilt

US Navy Bespoke Kilt The US Navy Tartan was officially created in 1987 to honor the Navy's heritage and its historical ties to Scotland. Developed in collaboration with the Scottish Tartans Authority, the design is not associated with any specific Scottish clan but reflects the Navy's deep roots in Scottish-American history. The tartan has since become a symbol of pride, often seen in ceremonial dress and Navy events, celebrating both the tradition and legacy of the United States Navy. Its adoption highlights the Navy's respect for its past and its global connections. The tartan features dark and light blue colors, representing the ocean, with thin red lines and thicker white lines separating the squares. Browse our full range of kilts and plaids.
