Upton Bass “Super Weich” G Test String

Research & Development Test String The Upton Bass string line starts here – with the SuperWeich, our first in-house steel string, handmade and wound in our shop. Every detail from core to wrap and materials to tension has been painstakingly developed by Gary Upton for over a decade through trial, error, and a lot of playing. Right now, this is a single G string release. Try it. Play it for a while. Then tell us what you think. Your feedback directly shapes what comes next - whether we lean warmer, brighter, darker, or drier. This is R&D in real time, and you’re part of it. $80 gets you a G string, a say in the future of Upton strings, and a second string headed your way if you’re game to keep testing.
