The neckline elegantly frames the collar area, drawing attention to the intricately stitched pink embroidery motif at the chest. The sleeves are three‑quarter length with refined tiered/bell flounces, edged in pink embroidered trim for a tailored finish. A back zipper runs from the neckline to the hem of the top for a secure, smooth fit.  Embroidery: The pink threadwork on the bodice and sleeve hems showcases a modern take on traditional African embroidery—precise, symmetrical, and artfully placed to highlight the garment’s sculptural lines. Skirt: A coordinating mint‑green pencil/column skirt in the same cotton brocade, cut to ankle length for a statuesque profile. The drawstring waist allows an adjustable, comfortable fit while maintaining a clean, formal silhouette. Subtle jacquard motifs in the fabric catch the light for added dimension.  Accessories shown: A pink, pre‑tied Autogele (sold separately), pink jewelry, and blush‑pink pumps complete the scene—styling ideas that complement the outfit’s sophisticated color story.  Significance of the Style, Fabric, and Colors  African Brocade (Cotton): In West African fashion, brocade signifies grace, celebration, and craftsmanship. Its jacquard texture reads luxurious while the cotton base remains breathable—ideal for ceremonies, receptions, and long events.  Peplum Silhouette: The peplum’s structured flare is both timeless and contemporary in African clothing. It sculpts the waist, balances the hips, and exudes a regal, occasion‑ready presence.  Drawstring Skirt: The adjustable waist is practical and versatile, accommodating movement without sacrificing a sleek profile—perfect for dancing at weddings or Owambe gatherings.  Color Meaning:  Mint Green: Renewal, serenity, prosperity, and fresh beginnings—an auspicious color for weddings, graduations, and milestone events.  Pink: Joy, elegance, compassion, and celebration—a soft yet confident hue that pairs beautifully with mint to symbolize harmony.  Pink + Green Together: A polished, feminine, and empowering palette embraced in many cultural and sorority contexts—particularly resonant for Alpha Kappa Alpha members and pink‑and‑green themed affairs. 💗💚  Key Features  Fabric: 100% cotton brocade (breathable with luxe jacquard texture)  Color: Mint green with pink embroidery  Top: Fitted bodice, box‑pleated peplum, 3/4 bell sleeves with embroidered trim  Closure: Back zipper from neckline to hem of the top  Skirt: Ankle‑length column shape with adjustable drawstring waist  Occasions: Weddings, Aso Ebi, Owambe, church, naming ceremonies, engagement parties, homecoming, AKA events  What’s Included: Peplum top + drawstring skirt  Not Included: Pink Pre‑tied Autogele (sold separately) and jewelry  Fit & Care  Fit: Tailored through the bodice, flared peplum; streamlined ankle‑length skirt  Care: Dry clean recommended for embroidery and brocade.
