The City of Mirages - Maximilian Hilton

Continuing their journey, Azure and Orestes arrive at the fabled city where the Earth Key is held. They enter its golden doors but are separated after meeting a familiar face. Azure loses her memories and finds herself married to the Sar of the city while Orestes is imprisoned and tortured in the dungeon. They see two sides of the city. Azure sees it as beautiful and prosperous, while Orestes witnesses the villainous atrocities happening behind closed doors. The only thing keeping them apart is the mysterious magic that overshadows the city as well as its inhabitants. They must find each other and escape with the Earth Key before it is too late. Their story and the stories of the Annix will draw you into the imagination of Kristin Hilton Callis who was an amazing storyteller and creative writer.
