UNS Pro CO2 Dual Stage Regulator

The Ultum Nature Systems Dual Stage CO2 Regulator is the perfect all-around solution for those looking to inject CO2 into a planted aquarium tank. Now with improved construction and an all-new design, the UNS Dual Stage CO2 Regulator offers a beautiful Anodized Space Grey finish for an ultra-sleek look and features a unique bubble counter manifold, allowing a single CO2 cylinder to be split and distributed amongst multiple planted aquariums. Its two gauges show both working pressure and gas volume in your tank. With an adjustable working pressure of up to 70 PSI, the Ultum Nature Systems Dual Stage CO2 Regulator allows for the user to monitor and clearly anticipate the levels of CO2 output while also knowing when the CO2 supply is running low and being backed up with its built-in failsafe mechanism that prevents the notorious "end of tank dump". End of tank dump happens when the pressure builds within a CO2 cylinder tank that is low on supply which causes an excess amount of CO2 to be rapidly released into the aquarium. This can result in CO2 poisoning of livestock and imbalanced water parameters. It comes with everything you'll need to attach to a standard (CGA-320 threaded) 2.5lb - 20lb CO2 cylinder without worry about potential gas leakage as long as your wrench arm is strong.  Why CO2 injection is important in a planted tank: 3 main factors contribute to the optimal growth of aquatic plants. These factors include nutrients, light and carbon dioxide (CO2). If any of these are unbalanced, the results are algae growth or the withering of plants. The introduction of CO2 in a planted aquarium allows plants to thrive and grow more efficiently, while also giving them the ability to out-compete algae for nutrients.  No matter what type of planted aquarium setup you have, we recommend CO2 injection for better aquarium plant growth.   Includes: UNS Pro CO2 Dual Stage Regulator CGA320 adapter Extra Assorted Washer O-Rings Tools 2x Bubble Counter Manifolds Power Adapter
