UNS Pro Check Valve

The Ultum Nature Systems Pro Check Valve is a practical piece of equipment designed to handle high pressure while preventing back flow of aquarium water into air pumps and CO2 regulators. Installing this accessory provides extra security and protection for other commonly used aquarium equipment. Made from aluminum alloy, the Pro Check Valve offers a clean aesthetic that complements the rest of Ultum Nature Systems' planted tank accessories. Why CO2 injection is important in a planted aquarium tank: 3 main factors contribute to the optimal growth of aquatic plants. These factors include nutrients, light and carbon dioxide (CO2). If any of these are unbalanced, the results are algae growth or the withering of aquatic plants. The introduction of CO2 in a planted aquarium tank allows aquatic plants to thrive and grow more efficiently, while also giving them the ability to outcompete algae for nutrients.
