Unplugged Performance - Front Lower Lateral Fore Arms - Tesla Model 3/Model Y

Are you experiencing steering slop or unwanted suspension noises? Are you a spirited driver looking for more precise steering response? We made these for you. Standard Model 3/Model Y front lower suspension arms equipped with rubber bushings are prone to accelerated wear due to the enormous power, weight and grip, which results in knocking, creaking and steering slop, often requiring replacement. These arms and bushings are designed to eliminate bushing deflection for improved driving performance and comfort, and to maintain proper suspension geometry. Solves suspension knocking and steering slop Improves handling, steering and comfort Upgrades all bushings and ball joints Easy and low-cost installation Constructed of OEM-quality cast aluminum Designed for street or track use Fits all Model 3/Model Y Standard Model 3/Model Y front lower suspension arms equipped with rubber bushings are prone to wear and often end up requiring replacement. This wear is accelerated by the enormous power, weight and grip of the Tesla Model 3. There’s a reason a better solution has not existed until now. It is extremely expensive to develop because it requires a new arm and multiple new bushings already preinstalled. After many years testing at the Nurburgring, at Pikes Peak and on daily driven streets we’ve made the necessary investment to bring a comprehensive solution that is easy to install and has a revised approach to all bushings in the arms. The Unplugged Performance Front Lower Lateral Fore Arms are full OEM-spec control arm replacements that feature upgraded spherical bushings throughout, already mounted in them for easy and low-cost installation. Developed and tested at Pikes Peak Hill Climb in our Dark Helmet race car, these arms and bushings are designed to eliminate bushing deflection for improved driving performance and comfort, and to maintain proper suspension geometry. Elevate your Tesla Model 3/Model Y performance and precision with Unplugged Performance Front Lower Lateral Fore Arms with Spherical Bushings. These meticulously engineered components are essential for anyone with worn bushings or for those looking for more precision out of their driving experience. These front lower arms feature aircraft-grade spherical bushings (sealed ball joints) and high-quality rubber bushings pressed into OEM-quality aluminum arms to enhance precision where it matters most while minimizing vibrations and noise. These arms and bushings were developed for everyday street use and were proven to withstand the intense conditions of extreme track use and even Pikes Peak Hill Climb in our race car, Dark Helmet. Improve street and track driving precision. Upgrading from the OEM rubber bushings to sealed spherical bushings provides laser-like precision in the steering and handling feel of the Model 3/Model Y. These arms and spherical bushing eliminate any numb feeling in the steering. Even worse, worn bushings can result in sloppy steering and handling. Whether you’re engaging in manual driving or utilizing self-driving modes, precise steering and chassis response reduces the need for constant corrections, delivering a more seamless and efficient driving experience. The result is less fatigue and smoother travel, meaning there is more comfort and more stability. Regardless of whether you’re behind the wheel or enjoying the ride as a passenger, you’ll appreciate the enhanced experience. Replace your worn out bushings. Tesla’s factory bushings utilize a soft rubber that we’ve found wear out in as little as 30,000-50,000 miles causing annoying knocking and creaking noises as well as slop and play in the steering. Excessive wear of the bushings can lead to unintended wheel movements with even the slightest forces, causing hazardous driving conditions and unpredictable handling. It can also result in excessive tire wear. The Unplugged Performance Front Lower Lateral Fore and Compliance Aft Control Arms with Spherical Bushings solve this issue as a quick and easy full arm replacement. Our arms are meticulously crafted with cast aluminum cores and shaped through precision assembly to ensure a heightened driving experience. We’ve simplified and upgraded the solution for you. Replacement options until now typically include a direct replacement with the same equipment ultimately resulting in the same outcome. Alternatively, some aftermarket solutions may address the replacement inner bushings, however that does not address the outer bushings or ball bushings. Additionally, pressing in bushings can be a very expensive installation. We offer a full arm replacement that replaces and upgrades every associated bushing, including the ball joints which must be inserted during the arm’s casting process. All this extra development is to give you a simplified and the most-thorough solution. Another benefit is that this arm can easily be installed in the comfort of your own garage or driveway if you choose to and are so equipped. Alternatively, it requires significantly less labor hours for shops to install, and thus less installation costs for you. Improve premature and uneven tire wear. With a spherical bushing your Tesla can be aligned with unparalleled accuracy. Your tires will follow your intended path by eliminating micro fore and aft bushing maneuverability mitigating unwanted tear wear. The Front Lower Lateral Fore Arms are located at the front lower suspension and connect the hub to the subframe while also being the lower anchoring point for the strut assembly. They incorporate 2 new spherical bushings or bearings and 1 new ball joint.
