University of Kansas Jayhawk Mascot Statue – Finish Choice

Celebrate University of Kansas tradition with this handcrafted Jayhawk Mascot Statue, offered in a selection of decorative finishes for a more architectural and understated presentation. The familiar KU mascot appears in its energetic pose with a large open beak, raised tail, oversized athletic shoes, and the prominent letters KU across its chest. Unlike the brightly painted team-color edition, this version allows the sculpted details to take center stage. The feathers, facial expression, athletic stance, lettering, and rounded base are emphasized through the chosen finish, making the sculpture easy to coordinate with a garden, patio, office, library, sports room, alumni display, or campus-inspired landscape. The Jayhawk is among the most recognizable mascots in college athletics. Its history stretches back through several student-created designs, including Henry Maloy’s 1912 interpretation. The friendly modern Jayhawk developed from a 1946 design by Harold D. Sandy and remains a powerful emblem of University of Kansas identity and school spirit. Handcrafted in the USA, this collegiate sculpture makes an enduring gift for Jayhawk alumni, students, professors, parents, basketball fans, football supporters, and anyone who proudly calls KU home. Select the finish that best complements the intended setting and enjoy a lasting symbol of Kansas loyalty. Shop the Team-Color Kansas Jayhawk Statue
