Limited Edition  Rashguard Care & Maintenance | NoGi State of Mind To ensure the longevity and performance of your rashguard, it's essential to follow simple care guidelines. Rashguards are designed to withstand intense training, but they need the right treatment to maintain their elasticity, durability, and comfort. 1. Gentle Washing: Wash your rashguard in cold water using a mild detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals, bleach, or fabric softeners, as they can break down the fabric's fibers and affect its fit and performance. 2. Avoid Drying in Direct Heat: Never dry your rashguard in a tumble dryer or expose it to direct sunlight for extended periods. High heat can degrade the material, causing it to lose shape and elasticity. Instead, lay it flat to air dry. 3. Hand Wash for Extra Care: If you're looking to keep your rashguard in the best condition possible, hand washing is always the gentler option. This minimizes wear and tear from aggressive machine cycles. 4. Proper Storage: After washing, ensure your rashguard is fully dry before storing it. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid hanging it by the collar or sleeves to prevent stretching the fabric. 5. Avoid Excessive Friction: While rashguards are built for performance, it's a good idea to minimize unnecessary abrasion when not in use. Try to avoid contact with rough surfaces or sharp objects that could cause snags or tears. By following these simple steps, your rashguard will continue to provide the support, comfort, and durability you need for your NoGi training, while maintaining its shape and integrity for the long haul.
