The UNION APEX mast is an ultra high modulus carbon mast offering superior stiffness and minimal drag.  The ultra thin 14mm profile impressively lowers drag while maintaining maximum stiffness.  The APEX really excels due to its exceptional torsional stiffness. The new UNION connection reduces the fuselage cross sectional area by 15%. This new outline is far more streamlined and efficient.
