Underworld Sample

The scent The artist This is a 2 ml spray sample. Find the full bottle here.  Enter the unknown universe of Underworld, as perfumer Christèle Jacquemin takes you through a stage in her life where she traveled between Barcelona, where she lived, and Paris, where she studied perfumery. The path taken by the shadows, until they reach the light, became the inspiration for this fragrance. The spice of pepper and cumin and the aromatic essence of smoked vetiver is what has us going back to this again and again. And don’t let us forget to mention the use of carrot seed, a note that we don’t see very often in perfumery that gives a unique earthiness that tantalizes the senses. But quite possibly the most unique aspect of this fragrance is the feeling of it. You can feel the breeze of the Underworld passing by you. It’s mystic and complex, intriguing and mysterious. Also to note, Underworld is made of more than 90% of ingredients of natural origin.   Notes include black pepper, cardamom, carrot seeds, cumin, patchouli, vetiver, mimosa, tuberose, and incense. Christèle Jacquemin, a photographer, perfumer, and traveler, embraces life through an artistic practice. Translating images that bamboozle and scents that instantly project into a possible faraway.
