Yes. Force of Nature Cleaner is an EPA-registered disinfectant that kills 99.9% of germs, including bacteria, viruses, mold, and mildew when used as directed on hard, non-porous surfaces. Independent lab testing also shows that Force of Nature cleans just as effectively as leading cleaning brands on grease, soap scum, glass, and odors. Force of Nature is on the EPA’s Lists N and Q, which include disinfectants approved for use against SARS-CoV-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19) and Emerging Viral Pathogens Tier 1. You can view the full independent cleaning and disinfecting test results on our Independent Lab Test Results page. Does Force of Nature come with a warranty or guarantee? Yes. Force of Nature comes with a 100% Happiness Guarantee. If you’re not satisfied, you can return your purchase within 30 days for a full refund minus return shipping. The appliance is also covered by a limited one-year warranty when used according to the instructions. 😊 Does Force of Nature Cleaner have a scent? Force of Nature has a very light, clean swimming-pool-like scent that’s naturally created when salt, water & vinegar are electrolyzed in the appliance. There are no added fragrances, so it’s a great option for people with asthma, allergies, or fragrance sensitivities. What is the active ingredient in Force of Nature Cleaner? The active disinfecting ingredient in Force of Nature Cleaner is hypochlorous acid (HOCl), a powerful antimicrobial that’s tough on germs but gentle enough to be used around kids and pets when used as directed. Hypochlorous acid is the same compound your immune system makes to fight infections. The formula also contains a very small amount of sodium hydroxide, a common detergent ingredient that helps dissolve grease, grime, and soap scum. It’s used at different concentrations in products ranging from skincare to toothpaste to cleaners. What is the science behind Force of Nature Cleaner? The Force of Nature appliance uses an electrical current to transform salt, water, and vinegar into two new ingredients: hypochlorous acid (the disinfectant) and sodium hydroxide (the cleaner). This technology, called electrolyzed water, has been used safely for decades in hospitals and industrial settings. You can learn more on our How Force of Nature Works page. What comes in the Force of Nature Year Supply Bundle? The Force of Nature Year Supply Bundle includes everything you need for a whole year of cleaning: the Force of Nature appliance, a reusable spray bottle, and 50 Activator Capsules. Each capsule makes one bottle of Force of Nature all-in-1 Cleaner, Deodorizer and Disinfectant. How long does the Force of Nature Year Supply Bundle last? The Force of Nature Year Supply Bundle includes 50 Activator Capsules, which make 50 bottles of Force of Nature Cleaner and Disinfectant. How long it lasts depends on how often you clean and how many products you’re replacing, but 50 bottles is typically a year supply for most families. Customers who use it to replace all their cleaning products tend to use about a bottle a week. How do I know how much Force of Nature Cleaner I would use? You’ll generally use about the same amount of Force of Nature as the products it replaces. If you’re using it instead of separate kitchen, bathroom, glass, floor cleaners, deodorizers, and disinfectant sprays, you’ll use the same amount of Force of Nature as you do of those products combined. What surfaces can I use Force of Nature on? Is it safe for stone? Force of Nature can be used to clean virtually any surface – sealed stone including granite, marble & quartz, wood, laminate, stainless steel, glass, grout, tile, porcelain, plastic, rubber & even on high chair trays & cutting boards. Deodorize trash, diaper pails, kitty litter, pet toys & bedding. Clean colorfast rugs (great for pet accidents!), stuffed animals, carseats & strollers. Always test first for color fastness in an inconspicuous spot, let dry before proceeding and don’t use on fabrics labeled “only non-chlorine bleach”. A few tips: Because Force of Nature has no whiteners like bleach or titanium, it won’t remove set in rust, hard water, or mold stains on porous surfaces. With soap scum, depending on build up & surface porosity, you may need a mild abrasive like baking soda with your scrub brush the first few times. This is because soap scum builds up in layers & can require a few applications to break down. If you’re using Force of Nature on brass or copper, either rinse with water or wipe until it’s thoroughly dry because it shouldn’t sit on soft metals over time. Does Force of Nature work with hard water? If you have hard water (over 100 ppm), we recommend using distilled, de-ionized, or softened water. Minerals in hard water can interfere with the chemistry, making the cleaner less effective, and can shorten the life of your appliance. Why does Force of Nature need to be used within 2 weeks? Like bubbles in a carbonated drink, hypochlorous acid dissipates over time. To ensure optimal cleaning and disinfecting performance, we recommend using the solution within two weeks of making it. The bottle is 12 oz compared to a typical cleaner, which is around 26-32 oz. Because you can use it for all your cleaning needs (replacing kitchen, bathroom, glass, floor cleaners, sanitizers, disinfectants and deodorizers) you’ll find you can easily use it up within 2 weeks. The light ring around the bottom of the electrolyzer appliance is color coded to let you know when it’s time to make a new batch. I have eczema or sensitive skin. Is Force of Nature safe to use? Yes. Force of Nature has earned the National Eczema Association Seal of Acceptance. In order to receive the NEA seal, we completed skin safety testing overseen by a Board Certified Dermatologist. Our formula met the NEA requirements for safety on all skin types, including sensitive skin. 👶🏼 Can I buy more Activator Capsules later? Yes. Once you have the appliance, you can buy Activator Capsule refills any time. You can buy them as one-time purchases or if you subscribe, you get 17% off with free shipping on every order. 💸 Which Force of Nature option is right for me?
