Uncle Goose: Bug Blocks

If you think bugs are ugly, take a closer look. One side of each block reveals a detailed close up of the insect featured on its opposite side. Colorful Art Nouveau upper and lowercase letters grace the remaining four sides. Explore patterns and etymology in a block set where nature meets design. This set is a companion to our Flower, Bird, and Ocean block sets. Note the sophisticated, decorative color palette. The lettering beneath each insect matches the typeface. The styling and typeface pleases a designer's eye, so that Uncle Goose Bug Blocks appeal to both adults and children; as well as sophisticates and ruffians. 28 – 1.75 inch cubes Made using sustainable Midwestern basswood Printed with non-toxic, mouth safe inks Ages: 2+ MADE IN USA   ABOUT THE ARTISTS William & Pete Bultman Grand Rapids, Michigan Uncle Goose was founded by William Bultman in 1983 after he learned no one in the USA seemed to be making wood blocks for children anymore.
