Umbrella Moss

Common Name: Giant Rose Moss Rhodobryum giganteum is a unique moss that forms miniature rosettes resembling tiny, delicate roses. Native to the humid forests of Asia, this slow-growing moss thrives in high-humidity environments and adds a lush, ornamental touch to terrariums & paludariums. Each rosette gradually expands into dense clusters, creating a soft, textured carpet that accentuates rocks, driftwood, or substrate surfaces. Ideal for hobbyists seeking a unique, low-maintenance moss, Umbrella Moss prefers moderate indirect light & consistent moisture. With proper care, it becomes a standout feature in any humid display, offering both elegance and a natural, forest-like aesthetic. Key Features & Important Notes: Each rosette typically grows about 0.5–1.5 cm in diameter. Clusters can slowly expand over time. Attach to driftwood or rock to prevent rot.
