One of a Kind with fossil walrus ivory artifact Blade Width - 4 1/2” This Ulu Knife is handmade in Homer, Alaska by Maynard Linder. The Blade is made from carpenters' handsaw steel with a high carbon content. This type of steel is preferred for its lightness, flexibility and ability to take and maintain a razor sharp edge. The handles are bedded in epoxy and riveted completely through themselves and the blade with brass rivets for a lifetime of service and stability.This handle is made from a Artifact Walrus Oosik. The Ulu can be sharpened with a diamond steel, or a medium Arkansas stone. Stand is not included*
